The Master Addition has an outside entrance, a shower bathroom w/washer/dryer, both a queen bed and a queen pull-out couch.  The second bath has an antique claw-foot soaking tub with the ultimate luxury of on-demand hot water that is pure & untreated w/chemicals. It is off the main living area next to the twin-bedded room. Linens & towels are provided; bring your own beach towels for use at your private swimming dock at Lean-to Island.

These are not the only amenities of this unique lakeside venue. You can begin each day at the rustic dining table contentedly musing on the postcard panorama through the floor to ceiling windows that surround the stone fireplace. Open the door to the deck to catch the morning breeze off the lake or take coffee in the warmth of the open fireplace.

From the front deck you'll spy the path over and down to the wooded island.   Across the picturesque rustic bridge w/viewing bench find the campfire, picnic table, Lean-to and dock. Pristine lake waters are deep enough for diving from the island’s dock, and you will observe it to have sun most of the day.

You might plan on the day-long paddle adventure door to door that covers three lakes and a river with just one long carry at the outset -- a rewarding, if rigorous, day’s outing. Maybe a quick early morning run up St. Regis Mountain or make it a day event w/picnic on the summit. There’s an antique fire tower perched on the very top; you can see it from your comfortable dining room or while roasting marshmallows at Lean-to Island.

Our foliage in a million shades requires rain.  As this may be the case, explore the many books you’ll find in Judy’s House, play games or have a well-deserved nap in the middle of the day. There’s wood for the fireplace and a lamp by the chair. With your beverage of choice and secure stone & glass between you and the elements … you can be wholly content.

THERE IS NO ROAD -- guests arrive and depart by motorboat.  Your gear is transported for you.

NOTE: We provide two canoes for your group and 4 paddles. You’re welcome to bring your own kayak, too.  Bring a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) for each person; NY State law requires its use.

Cautions: This camping adventure is not handicap accessible and inadvisable for toddlers. All campfires on the island must have onsite supervision at all times. Controlled dogs will be welcome for a $100 fee per pet limited to 2 medium-sized animals.
